Old places, new places

I thought of "Old City, New City" for a theme over the weekend. Granted it might not appeal to the rural planners, but it is a nice play on our location. I thought it could cover a big range of topics and sub-themes, for instance how we are transforming older abandoned areas, attractive elements of old plans, what the new city needs (technology, transit, bikes, clean energy), and what ideas new planners bring to the table.

Please add to, tear apart, and otherwise brainstorm it into a better idea.
